Devyn Leonor Briggs was raised in Bethlehem, PA and studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD, graduating with a BFA in 2013 and MPS in Business of Art and Design in 2014. She has maintained a studio at the Banana Factory since 2014, teaching art to all ages at the Banana Factory, Allentown Art Museum, and Bethlehem Area School District. Devyn has served in consulting roles at the Petrucci Family Foundation Collection of African American Art and Raven Fine Art Editions, and is currently a Career Readiness Specialist and adjunct faculty member at Northampton Community College. 
Since opening her studio, she has been dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Lehigh Valley arts community and has served on a number of committees including the Southside Arts District Design Committee, the African American Business Leaders Council Events Committee, the Guild of Creative Citizens Advisory Board, CACLV’s Color Outside the Lines Quality of Life Committee, and Juneteenth Lehigh Valley.
